Exclusive ÖVAEG meeting with Ambassador H.E. Al-Kaabi in Vienna

The Austria United Arab Emirates Association (ÖVAEG) accepted the invitation of the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Austria, H.E. Hamad Al-Kaabi, to a high-profile meeting in Vienna. The meeting provided an exclusive platform for an exchange on economic, political and cultural cooperation between Austria and the UAE.

The meeting was attended by renowned representatives of ÖVAEG, including President Hans Niessl, Honorary President Alex Schütz, Vice President Omar Al-Rawi, Secretary General Walter J. Gerbautz, as well as Secretary and Treasurer Sonja Schromm. The high-ranking group was complemented by board members Mouddar Khoujja and Robert Schneider.

In a world characterized by rapid change, partnerships like this are crucial. We must work together to find solutions that not only bring economic benefits, but also make a sustainable contribution to the societies in which we live. A central point of the meeting was also the discussion of the year 2025 and the strategic planning for future projects and collaborations.

President Hans Niessl emphasized the importance of the dialogue: “This meeting underlines the close cooperation between Austria and the United Arab Emirates. The exchange with Ambassador Al-Kaabi is a valuable impulse for future partnerships.”

Honorary President Alex Schütz added: “Direct dialog with leading diplomats is crucial in order to further develop sustainable relations. We see great potential for joint projects.”

Vice President Omar Al-Rawi emphasized: “Austria and the Gulf States share a great interest in innovation and sustainable development. ÖVAEG is actively committed to deepening this cooperation.”

Secretary General Walter J. Gerbautz emphasized the relevance of the cooperation: “The bilateral relations between Austria and the United Arab Emirates are a key to forward-looking projects. We look forward to further strengthening this dynamic.”

Secretary and Treasurer Sonja Schromm emphasized: “Stable economic cooperation requires trust and continuous exchange. This meeting was an important step towards defining common goals and strengthening sustainable partnerships.”

Board members Mouddar Khoujja and Robert Schneider jointly explained: “The economic relations between Austria and the United Arab Emirates offer enormous potential. Our aim is to promote sustainable developments and realize innovative projects through targeted cooperation.”

The talks demonstrated the mutual willingness to deepen relations and offered valuable prospects for future economic cooperation. ÖVAEG will continue to be a driving force in the promotion of interregional exchange.
